Disability Challenge

One of the cool parts of being a Scout is that the leaders in charge of the many activities love to Challenge our little friends. One of the better activities that really pushes the boundaries of the Scout is the Disability Challenge. Here Scouts are being put into situations to understand what it would be like to live with a disability.

The Scouts are learning to have to deal with playing basketball in a wheelchair - Olympics are a long, long way of for these guys. No need for slow motion replay!!!!!! It just shows how brilliant the true Paralympians are when it comes the their dedicated sport.

The next st of photos show the Scouts having to learn to dress in when they have limbs or other mobility issues that don;t always make it easy to get dressed.

So you think you are good at throwing a ball, try it when you have limited eyesight!
