Make It station

At the Make It station, Scouts are getting a chance to use 'Dad's Tools'! Here they are getting hands on experience with power tools and building something that will last after Jamboree. The picnic tables that are being made, some are to be donated to the Maryborough Showground and Equestrian Centre and some may end up in parks around Maryborough.  Don't they look great! The Scouts should be proud to leave behind something that people can enjoy and remind them that AJ2013 was held in Maryborough QLD in 2013.

Here are some shots of the Scouts actually working the tools and being put outside their comfort zones. This is what we try to promote in Scouting, try everything and see how you go. We have trained people onsite - thanks to the Maryborough District Wood Turning Guild who have been so supportive in getting this set up for us.
